In our busy, ‘always on’ world, we must pause to let our souls catch up.
You are invited to join our online soul renewal retreat
facilitated by Bradley Davidson, PhD – Spiritual Director, Guide, and Companion

A story is told about a group of missionaries travelling across an unfamiliar land who hired some local natives to guide them on their trek. After traveling for several long, hard days, the natives gradually slowed down and, despite the missionaries’ push to continue, they finally came to a stop. Frustrated, the missionaries asked, “Why are we stopping? It is still daylight. There is still time to travel farther before dark!” One of the natives replied, “We must stop and let our souls catch up with us.”
In our hard driving, ‘always on’ world, we continue to push our human limits. The results of this way of living can include physical exhaustion, mental depletion, and spiritual starvation. Instead of continuing the frenzy, we can learn to balance our action orientation with habits that enable us to slow down, pause, and renew. I invite you to join us via Zoom for this four-session Retreat for Soul Renewal where we will explore this balance.
Whether you are a life-long Christian, a new Christ-follower, or simply curious, you will find a safe and comfortable space in our retreat to slow down, breathe, explore, and renew. Each time we meet, we will learn and experience a new way of renewing and refreshing our spirit and experiencing The Holy One. We will have the opportunity to spend time away from the group, to practice our new ways of nourishing our soul, then share our experiences together at the conclusion of each session.
Today, I am inviting you to register and plan to attend this retreat for soul renewal. Our retreat will be held online via Zoom. Even via Zoom, you will find a holy and sacred place of freedom and refreshment.
Our retreat group will be relatively small so I encourage you to register as soon as possible. I look forward to being with you as we slow down together and let our souls catch up.
Welcome to retreat.

What our retreat participants are saying
Letting our Souls Catch Up: Retreat for Soul Renewal was the perfect gift from the Spirit at the perfect time. Brad’s guidance through carefully selected spiritual practices helped me to slow down and listen, as God spoke to me in fresh ways. Brad fostered a safe and sacred space for sharing, and a Zoom meeting room became holy ground. I am so grateful for this opportunity to pause and go deeper.
These evenings [of retreat] together have raised my spirit as well as my spirituality. Much to my surprise and pleasure.
Brad did a masterful job of presenting the spiritual practices, giving us space to experience each while fresh on our minds, and graciously encouraging (without requiring) the sharing of our experiences. This established real trust and vulnerability, even among people meeting together for the first time.
